Boston city departments hold neighborhood town hall at Josiah Quincy School. Police Commissioner William G. Gross opened the multi-department event, describing it as an effort to bring City Hall directly to residents rather than requiring constituents to travel downtown.

Residents can now order birth, death, and marriage records dating to 1630 online for $14.56 with two-day turnaround, and immigration legal clinics run by the Mayor's Office for Immigrant Advancement are available free every first and third Wednesday of the month.
