BOSTON — July 21, 2026 — Boston's Public Facilities Commission unanimously approved six property transactions Monday covering parcels in South Boston, Mattapan, Jamaica Plain, Roxbury, and Dorchester. Chair Catherine Craven and Commissioner Larry Mimoli approved all six items presented by Mayor's Office of Housing staff, with sale prices ranging from $100 to $171,000. The highest-value transaction sent a South Boston yard parcel to Jeffrey Sullivan for $171,000, above appraised value, after five years in city inventory; a Mattapan parcel at 125 Hopkins Place went to Roger F. Harris for $114,000 after 35 years in city hands. In Roxbury, a re-authorized 12-month tentative designation cleared the way for Madison Park Development Corporation to proceed with 15 income-restricted homeownership units at 75-81 Dudley Street, generating an estimated 38,890 construction hours. The commission also approved a six-month extension for the Boston Food Forest Coalition's Dorchester urban agriculture site, with a conveyance vote now targeted for December, after rising construction costs outpaced the group's original budget. The final vote gave Roxbury-based, minority-owned ILYB LLC a tentative designation for two Washington Street parcels in Nubian Square for the Arts at the Non project, featuring dance studios, cultural space, and a public plaza, at a nominal price of $200.
