Boston PFC Approves Six DND Votes on Housing and Land in Three Neighborhoods

BOSTON — July 22, 2026 — Boston Public Facilities Commission unanimously approves six DND housing and land votes. The commission, chaired by Catherine Craven and joined by Commissioner Larry Mavoli, cleared its full agenda in a single morning session July 22, advancing projects across Mattapan, Roxbury, and Dorchester. The votes included a 12-month extension for a 30-unit senior affordable rental project at 150 River Street in Mattapan, contingent on state DHCD funding — a source that has rejected the development team once already, though the team has since secured HUD 202 funding. A vacant Roxbury parcel held by the city for roughly 80 years was approved for conveyance to Jao P. De Silva at $5,000. Three Dorchester parcels on Standish and Harvard Streets were designated to TLE Development LLC and Co. Everything LLC for 22 deed-restricted affordable homeownership units at 90 percent of AMI. Two Blue Hill Avenue Action Plan packages were also approved: DVM Consulting LLC received designation for five Mattapan parcels comprising 28 mixed-income units and approximately $290,000 in affordable retail space, while Habitat for Humanity Greater Boston was designated for three parcels that would produce 12 homeownership units and roughly 6,900 square feet of affordable commercial space.
