Boston PFC Unanimously Approves Four Property Conveyances for Urban Agriculture and Development

BOSTON — July 22, 2026 — Boston Public Facilities Commission unanimously approves four city land conveyances totaling roughly $34,000 in sale revenue. At its July 22 meeting, the commission cleared all four votes presented by the Department of Neighborhood Development, including a $100 transfer of vacant land at 6 Chelsea Terrace in East Boston to EC Farm Incorporated for an urban agriculture site and a $200 transfer of two River Street parcels in Mattapan to Boston Food Forest Coalition, Incorporated for a community food forest — a parcel that had sat in city inventory for nearly 70 years. DND Chief and Director Sheila Dillon oversaw the presentations, with Development Officer Shawnee Fletcher and project manager Neraliz Lainas presenting the items. A third vote transferred 6 Lawson Place in East Boston to Pedro Miguel Ribeiro Gonzalez Moray for $23,000 for use as yard space and parking; a fourth conveyed 431 Belgrade Avenue in West Roxbury to Alex Kosmadaki for $10,595 for rehabilitation as a small office.
