Boston Zoning Board Approves Extensions, Subcommittee Cases at February Hearing
BOSTON — February 25, 2025 — Boston's Zoning Board of Appeal approved minutes, eight case continuances, and two subcommittee recommendations unanimously at its February 25 hearing, though a severely truncated transcript leaves most of the session's contested business unrecorded. The board — with members Mr. Valencia, Ms. Betta-Braza, Ms. Wewell, Mr. Langham, and Mr. Collins joining clerk Mark Stembridge and the chair — voted 7-0 on each of three procedural motions. Continuances were granted for properties at 3 Aspen Wall Road, 1027-1029 Tremont Street, 7-11 Curtis Street, 120 Braintree Street, 4-6 Woodville Park, 135 William T. Morrissey Boulevard, 671 East 6th Street, and 773-775 Huntington Avenue. Two cases approved at the February 13 subcommittee meeting also received full board confirmation; the ASR record drops their complete addresses. A withdrawal or deferral connected to 79 Bailey Street was raised just before individual case hearings began, but no disposition is captured in the available record.
