Tilly Huang, Massport's Deputy Director of Programs and Environmental Affairs, requested the continuance on the New Cypress Street project — which would create the first pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure on a South Boston street currently shared by walkers and heavy trucks — citing additional community comments received since the May 25 new business hearing. An Eversource Energy petition to relocate a utility pole in Brighton was continued after Transportation Department representative Amy Cording raised unresolved questions about a guy-wire anchor to be drilled roughly six feet into the ground adjacent to a tree.
